The International Adaptive Sports Festival "Impulse" is a truly unique platform designed for athletes with disabilities from all over the world not only to compete but also to connect, share experiences, make new friends, and feel part of the global sports community. Over several days of competition, participants didn't just compete for medals — they changed the world, demonstrating perseverance, willpower, and the boundless potential of the human spirit. 📅 The festival, held from March 26 to 29, 2026, brought together over 3,000 athletes and guests. Among them were strong teams from Russia (representing over 50 regions), Belarus, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Armenia, and Abkhazia. The scale of the event was impressive: 3,480 applications from 22 countries were submitted! Despite the logistical challenges, those who were able to attend created a true history full of memorable moments and personal victories in 20 adaptive and inclusive sports and over 70 disciplines. 🏅 Sporting triumphs and records. Competitions took place on specially adapted venues, where athletes demonstrated outstanding results in disciplines such as track and field, swimming, wheelchair basketball, and other adaptive sports. The first day set the tone for the entire festival: tears of joy, loud applause, and first records. Each finish became a symbol of overcoming – not only physical but also internal. But "IMPULSE" is much more than just sport. The organizers placed great emphasis on developing a professional community. 🛡 Comfort and care come first. The festival was impeccably organized: adapted infrastructure, convenient transportation, and comprehensive support allowed the athletes to fully focus on their performances. Participants received starter packs with healthy products from their partner, Fruto Nyanya, which helped them recharge for new achievements. This created a truly festive atmosphere, where everyone felt like part of a large, friendly family. Participants and spectators will enjoy a vibrant, festive, and captivating opening ceremony. The program includes welcoming remarks from Olympic champions, representatives of Russian ministries and agencies, leaders of guest countries, and invited guests from around the world. Russian and international pop stars will also perform. Numerous prizes and gifts will be presented that evening. This will be an unforgettable start to the festival of sport and inclusivity.
